SV	[Gimel.] Zelfs laten de zeekalveren de borsten neder, zij zogen hun welpen; [maar] de dochter mijns volks is als een wrede geworden, gelijk de struisen in de woestijn.

Trans.	gam-tannîn tannîm ḥāləṣû šaḏ hênîqû gûrêhen baṯ-‘ammî lə’aḵəzār kî ‘ēnîm kayə‘ēnîm bammiḏəbār:

AC	ג גם תנין (תנים) חלצו שד היניקו גוריהן בת עמי לאכזר כי ענים (כיענים) במדבר {ס}
ASV	Even the jackals draw out the breast, they give suck to their young ones: The daughter of my people is become cruel, like the ostriches in the wilderness.
